Dovetail on Overend, our first cafe, launched in 2014, and has become well known in our community for our service, quality, and providing a safe space for coeliacs to dine. Our second location Dovetail Social, Highgate Hill, launched in January 2021. Both locations feature our flavour-focussed food menu, amazing black or milk-based coffees, our famous fresh chai, and our freshly baked gluten free donuts and desserts (baked onsite daily)

Food Menu:
• Customer favourites include our Baked Eggs #7 – featuring our famous house Chilli Con Carne, Breakkie Pizza (covered with Maple Bacon), our Adobo Bowl (based on Filipino’s super tasty national dish), vegan-friendly Breakkie Rice Buddha Bowl, and of course our legendary Reuben, the classic!
• Every dish on our menu can be prepared Gluten Free in a dedicated kitchen space – so when we say it’s Gluten Free, we really mean it is 100% Coeliac-Friendly.
• We never charge extra for Gluten Free, EVER!!
Dessert Menu:
• Our famous donuts are baked fresh daily
• We only bake gluten free desserts in our oven (zero risk of gluten cross-contamination), but if we didn’t tell you they are gluten free you would never guess it
• Customer favourites include our Yamington (Purple Yam Lamington), Lemon Blueberry or Passionfruit Raspberry donuts; chocolate marshmallow mini cakes; and our amazing Christmas Ginger Bread Houses
• We also bake a much larger range of bespoke cakes and desserts (eg our gluten free Sticky Pecan Scrolls), and Gluten Free High Tea in our new space Dovetail Social, Highgate Hill – these can all be ordered easily from our website dovetailsocial.com.au
